Over the years, as I
have helped organizations put perspective into action for high
performance results, one of the sentiments I've heard from my
seminar participants is "I wish I had known this earlier
in my life." So I took three of my most successful programs
and made them applicable to college students: The Leadership
Perspective, The Pivotal Perspective and The Communication Perspective.
These three programs
are designed to provide students with the skills and attitudes
they need to become outstanding leaders, work through difficult
situations with confidence, turn failures into successes and
communicate exceptionally well. I have seen these principles
make a difference for young employees as well as for seasoned
professionals, and would love to extend this same opportunity
to your students.
Each of these topics
is tailored to give your students a running start on success
and I would love to come and share some insights with them. Let's
give these students every advantage possible as they begin the
pursuit of their life's dreams!
Three one-hour programs
designed to give students a running start on success!
The Leadership
Perspective Stepping Up, Leading Out
Every student should leave college not only with a degree, but
with valuable leadership experience that can be applied throughout
their lives in the workplace and the community. Students will
develop exceptional leadership qualities as they:
- Identify and use
their natural gifts
- Focus on possibilities
and how to achieve them
- Exercise flexibility
and creativity
- Identify weaknesses
and strengthen them
- Assume accountability
for their actions
The Pivotal Perspective
- Make a "You" Turn
Nothing discourages,
derails, or destroys student progress faster than a negative
attitude. This presentation will help students develop a positive
and empowering perspective that will make them unstoppable by:
- Viewing problems
as opportunities
- Gaining positive
insights from difficult experiences
- Redefining success
- Handling the tough
stuff with calm and confidence
- Using failure as
a springboard for success
The Communication Perspective - How to Connect with Anyone
Misunderstandings
and hurt feelings are age-old problems at school, at work and
at home. Students will learn to maximize communication effectiveness
and minimize ruffled feathers by:
- Using the three elements
of communication to their best advantage
- Utilizing the three
styles of communication to break down barriers
- Respecting the differences
in communication styles between men and women
- Applying these different
styles to enhance their personal and professional relationships
